Kristin’s career as a health care practitioner began with her own search for optimal health through natural & alternative therapies. Kristin was introduced to acupuncture as a means of managing insomnia. Amazed with the results those first few needles had on her sleep pattern and overall health, she was inspired to dedicate herself to the study and practice of acupuncture.

Kristin is a Registered Acupuncturist, licensed by the College of Traditional Chinese Medicine Practitioners and Acupuncturists of Ontario (CTCMPAO). She graduated from the 3-year Diploma in Acupuncture program at the International College of Traditional Chinese Medicine of Vancouver. After graduation her studies brought her to New York City, where she completed a Constitutional Facial Acupuncture certification program with renowned author & educator Mary Elizabeth Wakefield. She is currently enrolled in the Esthetics Program at Algonquin College.

Kristin uses acupuncture and supporting modalities to promote natural healing and holistic beauty. Though her primary focus is facial acupuncture her practice also addresses a range of facial neuralgias, stroke rehabilitation, Bell’s Palsy, Japanese scar therapy, and prenatal care.

Chinese medicine considers the whole self in treatment, not just the symptoms. By focusing on the root cause of the body’s disharmony, we are able to create a domino effect that reverberates out to address healing at all levels. It is Kristin’s aspiration to help support clients on their journeys toward balance and the continual cultivation of health and happiness. Kristin lives in Ottawa with her husband and their children.
